Play Vision has supported Scottish Rugby with the broadcast of various rugby matches, which included negotiating the distribution, the sale of rights for specific games and subcontracting the production on behalf of broadcasters.

Highlights of our partnership:

 

• Landmark deal negotiated by Play Vision to show 11 live matches from the Arnold Clark Men’s and Women’s Premiership on BBC ALBA and BBC iPlayer in the UK, full production on behalf of BBC ALBA, with English commentary world feed of each game on Scottish Rugby’s YouTube channel (Production and distribution including sale of rights)

 

• Scotland women’s international against Wales, which was shown live on BBC ALBA and BBC iPlayer in the UK and English commentary world feed on Scottish Rugby’s YouTube channel (Sale of rights and world feed production)

 

• Scotland women’s international against Fiji on BBC iPlayer & BBC Sport website and on Scottish Rugby’s YouTube channel outside of the UK (Production and distribution, including sale of rights)

 

• Scotland A men against Chile on Disney+ in Latin America, BBC iPlayer and BBC Sport website in the UK and on RugbyPass TV everywhere else (Production and distribution, including sale of rights)

 

• Domestic Cup Finals streamed live on Scottish Rugby’s YouTube channel and non-live matches filmed for highlights, with the live matches attracting more than 45k views across the two days (Production and distribution)
